Welcome to the award-winning Wild Atlantic Theatre a private corporate and community training programme based in Ennis, County Clare, Republic of Ireland.
We are focused on providing a best-in-class learning environment where personal, professional, and organizational growth are realized. Integrating our work with the community, county, country, continent, and world in which we live we create interactive offerings to support both individuals and corporate clients. Our focus is on having fun while facilitating and training all who would benefit by creating a voice for the often mis-heard or overlooked, a smile to those struggling, guidance on how to tell your story, and a path to thrive in any future which may arrive.
WAT Training Centre hosts classes for complete beginners to professional improvisers and any organization looking to up their communication, strategic planning, and innovation (among other topics). Everyone is welcome and everyone can learn the benefits of improvisation. We feature the best teachers in Clare and pull from across Ireland and around the world to connect the right trainer to those being trained. Our classes, workshops, and other events are not just for those who want to perform and become their true artistic self. They are for anyone who wants to become more comfortable in front of an audience, improve their communication skills, take an interesting class, find likeminded people (your "Tribe"), get out of their comfort zone, overcome their social anxiety, improve their presentation skills, and most importantly, get back to playing and laughing through life.
We have special programs in all our forms of creative enterprise for the neurodivergent, underserved communities, youth, and anyone interested in learning how to create new realities.
Some of our courses culminate in class showcases and we sponsor shows by master performers, storytellers, and artists from around the world.
